Please move beyond the algorithm. In the real world these likes don't matter. People are hiring you for your process, decision making skills, output and ability to communicate their ideas.

Inside America's only internet sea cable maker
Inside America's only internet sea cable maker
99% of international internet traffic travels through undersea cables. As AI and cloud computing drive demand, there's only one company in America that's capable of both making and laying them.

REA (Reverse Engineer Anything) by @morluto is now a skill in Computer.
Ask Computer to reverse-engineer an app and it inspects how the app works without its source code, then builds a working version.
Tasks that use /reverse-engineer are free through October 31, up to 10,000 credits per user.
Here are 5 apps Computer made with it, available to try for a limited time:
1) Figma: Design with layers and auto-layout, plus sign-in, cross-device sync, and multiplayer editing. Try it: ui-editing.pplx.app

Wrote up how we're trying to reduce PR review friction with concept of "small-change" as PRs/eng/week has increased 10x on some teams. (Aside: incidents down 42% HoH, critical incidents down 78%! Velocity vs quality never been a falser dichotomy.)

Could Abuja host a Grand Prix? You've all been asking.
I searched the city's roads for loops that could host a street race and shortlisted 20 possible circuits. I rebuilt the best 3 in 3D.
This lap in the recording below of Maitama is driven by an autonomous agent using GPT-6 Astra, the roads are near-accurate but buildings are not.

If Nigerian (African) architecture is anything, it is concerned deeply with materiality. Textures do the heavy lifting, not colours or glazing.

This is the Nigerian gospel, btw. Health, wealth & long life are rewards for morality/religiosity. Logically, the converse is expected. When things don’t go according to this formula—as they often don’t—adherents have a crisis of faith, or find a way to gaslight themselves. Sad.
People who drink, smoke, commit fornication and adultery, and live recklessly are very healthy. No health issues.
Someone who worships you, sings your praises, and even touches lives with his songs! You took him! Took him at his prime!
It’s not okay! This is not okay!
You didn’t think of his little kids? Why?

Mesmerized.
Two instruments that should never meet but when they do, you get this.
The kora is 300 years old. 21 strings made from a calabash and cow skin, from West Africa.
The cello is 500 years old. 4 strings, from 16th century Europe.
Different worlds with different histories but they speak the same language.
Ballaké Sissoko & Vincent Segal from their album Chamber Music.
The Brimble CLI is live.
Deploy apps, manage projects, stream logs, manage environment variables, and more, straight from your terminal.
Built for developers who want to spend less time switching between tools and more time shipping.

Some magical progress towards "magic state" in quantum!
Our @GoogleQuantumAI team has demonstrated "magic state cultivation" on physical hardware for the first time. The result is a 40x error reduction on our Willow processor vs. previous methods, achieving a state-of-the-art 99.99% logical fidelity.
It's another step towards useful, error-corrected quantum computers to help solve the hardest problems. The result is published in Science today, watch the video below to see how it works
