Sometimes, you don’t need to be personally offended before blocking others on social media. For me, it is okay to block people who are being cruel to others for no reason. Handles that bully and abuse others unprovoked. People who make jokes about physical appearances and natural inabilities of others. Those who make posts of people in their vulnerable moments, intending to set them up for ridicule. Those who mock others with marriage and childbirth. People that make incendiary trial, ethnic or religious statements. And particularly people who are not kind to children and the vulnerable. Blocking them won’t hurt or stop them but at least it will stop you from being like them.
