🔥 @mrjamesob nails Brexit caller! No plan, no clue, just anger at immigrants! Once you strip away culture war politics, Brexit defenders still struggle to point to measurable economic gains and fall back on identity/ immigration rather than outcomes.

7.5billion saved by our government,, on fraud. Why is this not being reported? #skynews #bbcnews #C4news
How is it possible that the media does not report the £7.5bn of money saved by Labour from fraud in our public services. The savings secured are equivalent to the cost of employing an additional 230,000 nurses or repairing every pothole in the country. This is big news!

10 years ago @Nigel_Farage tried to stop the EU investigating Russian funding parties just like his. His first comments when Russia invaded Ukraine? He was concerned about sanctions against Oligarchs. Just months ago his right hand man in the European Parliament, Nathan Gill, was jailed for Russia bribes. Last month Reform UK’s largest donor was shown to be profiting from a propaganda channel. Are we supposed to believe that the Russian money has just stopped?

This chart matters. Since the Brexit vote in 2016, EU GDP per capita (PPP) has grown three times faster than the UK’s. EU27: +12% UK: +4% Same global shocks. Same pandemic. Same energy crisis. The difference isn’t Covid or Ukraine - it’s market access, investment confidence, labour mobility and scale. While the EU recovered and then accelerated, the UK: •took a deeper hit, •recovered more weakly, •and then flatlined. This is what structural economic damage looks like - not a temporary wobble, not “transition pain”, but a lasting downgrade in living standards. And the most dangerous lie in British politics is still being told: “We haven’t done Brexit properly yet.” We did. This is it. It’s Brexit.
Since 2016, the economic strength of the EU as measured by GDP/capita at PPP has grown by 8 percentage points more than the UK. +12% vs. +4%. ourworldindata.org/grapher/g…

Farage has been dismissing evidence of Russian ties to the Salisbury Novichok attack since 2018. We need an investigation into Russian interference in our politics.

A FRAUD FOR OUR TIMES. Like Hitler, Moseley, Trump, Johnson and other rabble rousers, Farage has nothing but contempt for the working class people he so easily sways with his professed xenophobia & fake "mateyness". Unlike Hitler, he shares none of the racist prejudices he's so delighted to whip up and exploit. He's a posh boy with a VERY privileged education behind him, and millions in the bank which he wants to protect from any kind of fair redistribution of privilege and opportunity through fairer taxes on wealth. Like Hitler, his interests are those of the oil companies, the big corporations, the oligarchs and the super rich he represents and mixes with, and who are funding his wholly synthetic "populist" outfit. A FRAUD FOR OUR TIMES.

BREAKING: House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries torches Donald Trump for his stunningly corrupt blanket pardon of the January 6th insurrectionists and puts the entire Republican Party on notice. This is exactly the kind of leadership we need right now... "House Republicans are celebrating pardons issued to a bloodthirsty mob that violently assaulted police officers on January 6, 2021. What happened to backing the Blue?" Jeffries posted on Threads. "Far right extremists have become the party of lawlessness and disorder. Don’t ever lecture America again," he continued. "About anything." These pardons are the dawn of a new age of lawlessness in America and this is what MAGA voted for. Don't ever let them lecture you about law and order ever again. They are the party of felons and of assaulting police officers. Please retweet and ❤️ to thank Hakeem Jeffries for speaking the truth — and consider joining the growing exodus to Tribel, a new pro-democracy social network that is exploding in popularity because Twitter and Facebook are trying to stop its growth — which is only making Tribel grow even faster.
