See who wan win election for atiku😂
Atiku Abubakar was right when he advised President Bola Tinubu to go back to school. The President has just provided another compelling reason why he should urgently consider that advice!
Speaking about his refusal to reconsider the removal of petrol subsidy, Tinubu decided to take Nigerians on a journey through the Holy Bible and the Holy Qur’an @channelstv.
Hear him: “When Moses and Musa left Egypt, they faced a challenge, and the Red Sea parted and gave way.”
Haba, Professor Tinubu! Which Moses and which Musa? Were they travelling together? Was Moses leading the Christian delegation while Musa commanded the Muslim contingent? Did they have separate passports at the Egyptian border?
Mr President, Moses in the Bible is Musa in the Qur’an! Same prophet. Same person. Same journey. Different languages!
There was no joint expedition by Moses and Musa. There was only one man leading the Israelites out of Egypt!
And this is the President who says he has been doing deep thinking about Nigeria's economy?
No wonder Nigerians are confused. A President who has apparently multiplied one prophet into two is now asking Nigerians to believe that multiplying their suffering is the road to prosperity!
But beyond the scriptural comedy, Nigerians are not asking Tinubu to return to Egypt. They are asking him to rescue them from the economic wilderness into which his policies have driven them.
They want affordable petrol, cheaper food, lower transportation costs, electricity they can afford and money in their pockets.
Mr President, Nigerians are not demanding a return to Egypt. They are demanding an escape from the Egypt of economic hardship your administration has created!
Atiku was right. President Tinubu should go back to school. And perhaps the first lesson should be simple: Moses = Musa. One prophet. Not two!

I listen to my political opponents promising the return of subsidy. I remember my scripture studies in either the Bible or the Holy Quran. When Moses left Egypt, they faced the challenge, the Red Sea parted and gave way. You cannot ask Moses to go back to Egypt.

We had so much money that we decided that subsidizing everything from health, fuel, education, food, foreign exchange was the best way to spend the money.
Nigeria 1970-2023 needs to be made the gold standard of economic stupidity.
Dangote: Nigeria has given IMF money before, we have also given money to the World Bank, we have also written off £211 million debt to the UK. We can be there. Our national budget in 1975 was N30 billion. Do you know how much that was? It was 30 billion pounds, so it means that our budget at that time was $47 billion. Can you imagine if we kept up that growth?

“The naira is among the world’s best-performing currencies this year, with its nearly 8% appreciation against the dollar ranking it in the top 10 of 144 currencies tracked by Bloomberg. The currency’s gains also anchor investor returns across Nigerian assets, from stocks to local-currency bonds, which rank among the highest in the world”
For the umpteenth time don’t sleep on the Naira and Naira assets at least in the short to medium term…

Almost all macro signals are positive, but everyone is miserable. The Govt has to make the gains of economic reforms visible quickly or they'll lose the populace.
