🚨📰 Rio Ferdinand believes one Arsenal star deserves a pay rise after his impressive performance against Nottingham Forest.
Rio Ferdinand was full of praise for Arsenal’s defensive display following their clash with Nottingham Forest
🗣️🎙️“Your defenders, Konsa, they need a pat on the back. I saw Declan making a great block as well like the block Konsa made at the end of the game.”
“Oh my god, that’s a match-winner. Like, that that he deserves a bump up in wages just for that alone. Huge, huge moment.”
Konsa may have only recently joined Arsenal, meaning a new contract or pay rise is unlikely to be on the cards just yet.
However, his performances are already strengthening his case to become a regular in Arteta’s starting XI.
Gooners, do you agree with Rio Ferdinand?
Has Konsa been that impressive for Arsenal already, or is it too early to talk about a pay rise?

🚨📰 Oliver Glasner names two Arsenal stars he believes could be among the best players in world football right now.
Oliver Glasner believes Ezri Konsa and Gabriel Magalhaes could be the best centre-back pairing in world football right now.
He said after the game, as per Ryan Taylor on X:
🗣️🎙️“Ezri Konsa & Gabriel are possibly the best centre-back pairing in the world at the moment.”
That’s some serious praise, especially given that the pair have only played together a handful of times.
Gooners, has Ezri Konsa done enough to make us forget about Saliba’s absence?

🚨📰 Arsenal receive fresh update on Christos Tzolis’ injury ahead of Leeds clash.
Speaking on talkSPORT’s Premier League All Access podcast, journalist Alex Crook suggested the player could face a longer spell on the sidelines.
🗣️“I think you’re looking at four weeks for him, aren’t you, which is a blow, although not a body blow, because I think they’ve got players who can come in and cover in that position. And his form, despite a bright start and a good pre-season, has been a little bit inconsistent.”
Tzolis was already expected to miss the Leeds clash, but a four-week absence would keep him sidelined until early November at the earliest.
That could see Arsenal without him for two crucial fixtures: the Champions League showdown with Bayern Munich and the Premier League trip to Anfield.
Gooners, apart from starting Eze on the left wing, who would you trust to provide cover in that position?
