What is going on...

Twice now I've had a match where the bomb gets stuck in an area that's not retrievable for either team.

There's one thing I'm noticing in gun fights. I'm behind standing cover, enemy is on the other side of standing cover but not attached to it. They're positioned enough that a Back-A is not going to hit them. Somehow I get chunked.

Could this be because of the way the center screen aiming slightly shifts to barrel when closer to an object or is something else happening? I'm not one to complain. But it just doesn't look or feel right at all.

I'll attempt to get a recording of it. But last night, it was happening with one opponent consistently.

HUGE Shoutout to @TheGFC_ Thank you @neilpezz @_Loryat @FuturisticBlade for joining me for that fine 2.5hrs of chatting. Really cool set of folks, highly recommend getting in touch with them if you plan on doing any Community event for @GearsofWar or want to volunteer for them!

George Chuvalo, the five-time Canadian heavyweight champion and two-time world heavyweight title challenger, has passed away at 89 years old. Chuvalo's career was defined by two mega-bouts with Muhammad Ali, in which Chuvalo drew kudos for standing toe-to-toe with the most gifted and charismatic boxer of the era.

Wow. Siege did really well considering that they didn't follow through with the first week being Siege only.
Over 60,000 Gears were crushed by Gill's Raven. Unacceptable. Report back to boot camp in October, soldiers 🫡

Thoughts after the Beta: - Horde Siege is very interesting and has a lot of potential. - Multiplayer is fun and different. I like the "chase" of trying to get better at it. - Controller schemes need severe adjusting. Took me most of the Beta to lock down a good base.

Overall the direction is there with a few quirks that need adjusting. I'm interested in E-Day more than I was with 4 and 5. It's fun to play a familiar game that feels different and takes adjusting to get a handle on, instead of a rehash with a few additions.

I completely changed my controller settings. Tried these for 5 games and have noticed a significant improvement - the best I've played the entire Beta.

My only major gripe with E-Day is the lack of freedom with the controller schemes. I also don't like how any of the changes you make to your bindings don't correlate to the controller image and your selected controller scheme. Everything else I can live with.

Another thing I find is Evade is essentially useless with all the movement options available in E-Day. Between Sprinting, Sliding, and Take Cover, there's almost never a good reason to use Evade as it will always put you in a bad position given the length of the animation.
