Just finished the @GearsofWar Campaign on Insane.
WOW. Just WOW.
My favorite Campaign by far, they nailed everything in my eyes. I can't put it into words how super stoked I am for the future.

I can give you a simple example what killed Gears for me. Split playlists based on 'player feedback' on what is and isn't competitive. Let's say.. People wanted Ranked Guardian on Comp. - Nope, Guardian isn't comp. so get fucked. That to me, was the biggest issue back in the gap.
Imma say this once and one time only, Esports didn’t kill gears. The people who didn’t want to take the time to learn the game. ie: learning how to bounce or use the shotgun did. The competitive scene/players kept the game alive. But yall don’t want to admit that. I wanted to play gears 4 comp so bad but I didn’t have good enough Internet to compete. Once I did gears 5 was about to come out. And I only got to play that. I want esports to come to E Day because I don’t want gears 5 to be my only competitive game. Watch what happens if esports never comes to this game. I can understand how it makes everyone feel but watching casuals say esports killed gears irritates me more than anything

What is even the point anymore in 'creating' something.
Competitive players have almost always reduced everyone else to "if you didn't do LAN, your opinion on Gears is invalid" in my experience. Now nobody can even get to that point, let alone win an event. So they start pissing off every other fan that likes the game.
Nothing new.

Ended up in Bronze 3, Division D.
Every match been against a stack team.
I hold myself well.
Teammate crashes/quits.
I lose.
I lose points.
No extra gain for staying in the game, punished for things out of my control.
