Youtube was counterculture, now it's Hollywood mainstream. Streamers were counterculture, now many are Hollywood and mainstream. Money plus popularity always gets in the way of something cool and different. It's obvious but big companies will never care about the art more than the money. That's why mainstream films are usually so shit. Signed musicians get blocked by their labels and can't release their own music until it get their say and they suck all the originality from it.
