Yep.
Go to any English ground.
Whenever a defender heads a ball back to a goalkeeper, there’s a round of applause…
A player tries a skill and it goes wrong, there’s a groan.
People may look at that and think I’m overthinking it, but it tells a lot about the culture we’ve seen throughout this country.
Safe, fear first rather than proactive and dream big. A great shame
Replying to @hbrooks_coach
In addition, we have to evolve culturally beyond this caveman-esque roars of approval for clattering tackles, or booming headers away. Top priority needs to on retaining the ball, and on-field problem solving.

In a game, we’re only a draw would miraculously only fuck over the nation that is at war with the host nation. The referee plays two minutes extra into overtime so that the Austrians have a chance to equalize and once they do, the referee doesn’t even play a second over extra time absolutely unbelievable this is fucking rigged and it’s fucking bullshit. Fuck this stupid tournament. Fuck FIFA.

Please, if anyone can help, I would like to organise a 24th-minute applause for our home game against Everton. My brother, Benjamin, took his own life on the 28th of April 2026. We didn't know he was suffering. He died aged 24, a lifelong, devoted Spurs fan. #COYS ...

FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FORTY YEARS.
IRAQ HAVE QUALIFIED FOR THE WORLD CUP.
WE HAVE BECOME THE LAST NATION TO DO SO.
WE HAVE DONE IT WITH THE MOST GAMES IN THE QUALIFIERS, BEING TWENTY-BLOODY-ONE OF THEM.
BUT WE MADE IT. TODAY IS THE DAY.
FULL TIME SCORE: 🇮🇶 2-1 🇧🇴

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of our legendary former striker, Martin Chivers.
We extend our deepest sympathies to Martin’s family, friends and former team-mates at this incredibly sad time.
Our players will wear black armbands during this evening’s fixture against AFC Bournemouth.
Rest in peace, Martin. One of the all-time greats 🤍

Gave us the greatest night in the clubs recent history, and for that, is forever etched into #Tottenham’s history books.
Thank you for everything, Brennan 🤍

Don't think there are many redemption arcs better than Dembele's.
Started off as one of the most promising talents, highly toted at Rennes, Dortmund, and considered Neymar's heir by Barcelona, spending a near world record fee to bring him.
Completely flopped, dealt with so many injuries, got the nickname Dembulance, and endured so much abuse, pain. The worst was the World Cup 2022 final, where he comitted a penalty, and got substited off before half time.
Went to PSG, got abused for the decision, had an embarassing catapult out of the UCL knockouts to Dortmund the previous season.
But finally, 24/25 he has an injury free season, a historic treble season, and ends with a Ballon D'or.

Heung-min Son provided an abundance of both class and loyalty during his time at #Tottenham, and I’m delighted that he was ultimately rewarded for that by lifting silverware as club captain.
He is undoubtedly a legend of our club, and it was a pleasure to live through his 10 excellent years in a #Spurs shirt.
Thank you for everything, captain, leader, and legend, Heung-min Son 👑🤍

We were getting rejected by Feyernood managers when Ange came in. He saw us sell Kane weeks after.
Still he defended the club in every press conference and delivered our greatest night in 41 years, despite a Summer window of only 1 senior player.
I will be eternally thankful.
