It’s interesting that there is specialisms in body parts, pathologies & treatments, even pain But it feels like much less discussion of specialism in the way of support, motivation, caring and behaviour change? Are these less specialist areas?

Coaching and teaching is not about prescribing and dictating. It's about creating situations where the athlete is challenged to figure it out. You nudge them along, but if you always give them the answer, you aren't actually teaching. And they aren't learning.

Exercise dosing for pain is not the same as exercise dosing for fitness cor-kinetic.com/exercise-dos… Maybe we cannot just take exercise concepts from the world of fitness over to the world of rehab.

Let's talk the fundamentals of rolling for the upper and lower body to get to half kneeling and eventually standing. This exercise is ideal for all exercise levels and is an excellent progression to the get up. #movewithFMS #rolling #fundamentalsfirst

RNLI has received so many donations that their site has crashed. Further proof that Britain is full of really decent people. The trolls shout loudly but they are far outnumbered by the kind hearted ordinary people. theguardian.com/society/2019…
