Kevin O’Connell and Carissa Christensen joined Billy Mitchell to discuss how commercial growth, new entrants, and shifting economic forces are redefining the space industrial base. They explore rising global investment, the challenges of revenue growth, the need for smarter risk assessment and resilient supply chains, and why government should enable, not hinder, the momentum of the commercial sector.

The latest rocket launch market share report just dropped 🚀
SpaceX launched 88.5% of all satellites in Q2, on track to hit the 90% share @ElonMusk predicted for the rest of 2025.
By weight lofted to orbit, SpaceX did 86% of the global total. And it’s a power law; once you remove #1, China’s CASC did more than everyone else combined.
The inset boxes are enlarged so you can see the long tail of contenders.
