Connecting with the next generation of sustainable engineering talent! Marcus Eves and Abdi Fodey were delighted to represent Box Twenty at the Networking for Sustainable Futures Careers Event at the University of Bristol. It was a fantastic opportunity to meet talented students from across the Faculty of Science and Engineering, share insights into our industry, and discuss future career opportunities, including placements and graduate roles. Thank you to Paul Harper and the rest of the team for organising such a valuable event and bringing together businesses and the next generation of engineering professionals. At Box Twenty, we’re always keen to connect with emerging talent and support the engineers who will help shape a more sustainable future. #BoxTwenty #UniversityOfBristol #SustainableFutures #EngineeringCareers #GraduateOpportunities #FutureTalent

Paul joined the G&T team for a social evening in Bristol, enjoying a boat cruise along the waterfront and the opportunity to connect with colleagues outside the usual working environment. The evening began with a bite to eat before the team gathered at Princes Street Bridge, by Arnolfini, to board the boat. The cruise provided a relaxed setting to catch up, share conversations and strengthen relationships across the team, before continuing the evening with a pub stop at The Pump House. A big thank you to Laura Potter for organising the event and to James Seymour for helping bring everyone together for a fantastic evening. Events like these are a great way to build stronger working relationships, encourage collaboration and strengthen connections across the industry. #BoxTwenty #Teamwork #Collaboration #Networking #TeamBuilding #Bristol

🏗️Project Update - One Friary🏗️ One Friary at Temple Quay has achieved a BREEAM Outstanding rating at Post-Construction stage, a level achieved by fewer than 1% of certified UK buildings. And it’s the Post-Construction rating that makes this particularly significant. A design-stage rating demonstrates intent. Post-Construction certification demonstrates what was actually delivered, from the services installed to their commissioning and performance. Maintaining that standard through three years and a full construction programme is no small achievement. Box Twenty provided mechanical, electrical and public health consultancy to Bankfoot APAM, developing the services design from concept through to tender and supporting the client throughout construction. Congratulations to everyone involved: Bankfoot APAM, Beard, TP Bennett, Heyne Tillett Steel, Core Five and Catella APAM. A great result for the project team, and a strong example of what can be achieved when sustainability is embedded from design through delivery. #BoxTwenty #MEP #BuildingServices #Engineering #BREEAM #Sustainability

Yesterday, Paul Weston attended the fbe Great Western Golf Day, held at The Bristol Golf Club in collaboration with Women in Property, with funds raised for Empire Fighting Chance. Our thanks to James Devey for the invitation, and to Tim Hodson and Oscar Baker, who made up the four-ball. Big shout out to Sulli Gardner, who organised the day and ran it exceptionally well. Bringing 108 golfers across two courses through registration, scoring and prize giving is no small undertaking, and the smooth running of the event was testament to the organisation behind it. Empire Fighting Chance uses boxing and one-to-one coaching to support young people across Bristol who have been poorly served by conventional provision. Their work makes a real difference, and we were pleased to support an event raising funds for the charity. Our thanks to everyone involved in making it such a successful day! #BoxTwenty #MEP #BuildingServices #Engineering #Bristol #Networking #EmpireFightingChance
