“22 And they all adored the Lord, and said to her: The Lord hath blessed thee by his power, because by thee he hath brought our enemies to nought. 23 And Ozias the prince of the people of Israel, said to her: Blessed art thou, O daughter, by the Lord the most high God, above all women upon the earth. 24 Blessed be the Lord who made heaven and earth, who hath directed thee to the cutting off the head of the prince of our enemies. 25 Because he hath so magnified thy name this day, that thy praise shall not depart out of the mouth of men who shall be mindful of the power of the Lord for ever, for that thou hast not spared thy life, by reason of the distress and tribulation of thy people, but hast prevented our ruin in the presence of our God. 10 And when she was come out to him, they all blessed her with one voice, saying: Thou art the glory of Jerusalem, thou art the joy of Israel, thou art the honour of our people:” - Judith 13:22-25, 15:10-10 ☩

Theologians have always taught that olive oil is necessary for the validity of the sacrament of confirmation. Yet today, some use peanut oil, soybean oil… so that one can have serious doubt about the validity of the sacrament. -Abp. Lefebvre

“If a man wants God to hear his prayer quickly, then before he prays for anything else, even his own soul, when he stands and stretches out his hands towards God, he must pray with all his heart for his enemies. Through this action God will hear everything that he asks.” - Abba Zeno, Sayings of the Desert Fathers

A friend just taught me about the Third Order of the SSPX. Each member is given a priest to pray for, for the rest of their lives (the member’s life). How special is that? You aren’t supposed to tell the priest that you are assigned. I think that is so special and amazing

“And to some who trusted in themselves as just and despised others, he spoke also this parable: Two men went up into the temple to pray: the one a Pharisee and the other a publican. The Pharisee standing, prayed thus with himself: O God, I give thee thanks that I am not as the rest of men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, as also is this publican. I fast twice in a week: I give tithes of all that I possess. And the publican, standing afar off, would not so much as lift up his eyes towards heaven; but struck his breast, saying: O God, be merciful to me a sinner. I say to you, this man went down into his house justified rather than the other: because every one that exalteth himself shall be humbled: and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.” - Luke 18:9-14

Respectfully, @TaylorRMarshall I know that you have always been FSSP-aligned, but you did once say “in this crisis SSPX is where it’s at. Now I see God’s hand on them.” I’m guessing you wouldn’t put it the same way today?

The aim of the crusade was to offer to Our Lady 100,000 Rosaries across the district for the intentions which Fr Themann selected:
  1. For the Society of St Pius X, especially her superiors and her future bishops. 2. To prepare all Catholics for the grace that the forthcoming episcopal consecrations represent for the whole Church.
