Can I say I made my Broadway debut last night, if I was seated in the on-stage pews @OurTownBroadway? What a singularly surreal experience it was. Jim Parsons verbally paints a mind’s-eye masterpiece of Grover’s Corners. Being so close, I was able to better appreciate...

...not only the acting, but the nuanced pantomime artistry of Katie Holmes, Michelle Wilson, Ephraim Sykes, Zoey Deutch, Richard Thomas, Billy Eugene Jones, et al, in what is another creatively directed show by @iamKennyLeon.

You don’t need to celebrate Christmas to enjoy @elfonbroadway. Grey Henson’s Buddy is, to quote Buddy, “Miraculous.” Perfectly cast & so believable in his wide-eyed, childlike optimism & courtship of Kayla Davion’s reluctant Jovie. Legendary @SeanAstin commands the stage...

...in his Broadway debut as Santa. Kai Edgar’s star is sure to rise after his turn as Michael here, alongside Michael Hayden, Ashley Brown, @TheKalenAllen, Jennifer Sanchez & this hard-working, spirited cast.

The Merchant of Venice @classicstage is a reframing of much of Shylock’s (Richard Topol) narrative by Igor Golyak.
TR Knight is the versatile ring master in this “cable access show” gone spectacularly awry, with a multi-talented cast leaning into the comedic side of...

How do you measure a lifelong pen pal friendship an ocean apart? In handwritten letters (not emails) of laughter & strife, sharing triumphs & troubles.
@Michael2264 has penned a beautiful homage to a lost art in Pen Pals.
Like a tennis match, Nancy McKeon (who has not..
As @bluemangroup’s run nears its end at Astor Place Theater, we took the show in & had a fun, rocking, interactive night. A show doesn’t last in NYC for 33 years without being a spectacle that hits all your senses & that’s what they’ve apparently done since '91.

Far from limping to the finish line, @SweptAwayFans played to a packed house last night.
Wonderfully sweeping harmonies by @JohnGallagherJr, Adrian Blake Enscoe, Stark Sands & Wayne Duvall reminded me of The Eagles’ Seven Bridges Road.
Incredibly engaging cast, both...
Cult of Love at @2STNYC’s Helen Hayes Theater is a star-studded, superbly acted dramedy about a family with issues simmering just below the surface, that may make you think your own family’s not so dysfunctional after all.
Have to agree with Chris Lowell that the only person who could fill Cole Escola’s @OhMaryPlay curls, is Chris’s @GlowNetflix co-star, Betty Gilpin. Looking forward to seeing what she does with the role. Meantime, go see Chris in Cult of Love on Broadway.
When a perfectly timed Cult of Love stage door @2STNYC ends just as TomFrancis's @sunsetblvd walk begins.

Headed to the Lunt-Fontanne with “My person” & can Ernest-ly confirm @DeathBecomesBwy is one Hel(en) of a musical. Pure hilarity combined with stunningly creative effects/stunts. Mad(eline) props to Megan Hilty, Jennifer Simard, Christopher Sieber & Michelle Williams on...

Eureka Day @MTC_NYC likely has the funniest scene I’ve ever seen on Broadway.
👍
The stellar cast of Jessica Hecht, Bill Irwin, Thomas Middleditch (who’s gone from "B Positive" to an A+ Bway show), Amber Gray & Chelsea Yakura-Kurtz, takes a weighty issue that could have..
What a way to finish a 2-show day @HamiltonMusical, having seen former Washington, Nicholas Christopher @LittleShopNYC matinee. Was worth the wait to finally watch Hamilton battle Burr, the British & his own demons.

Back on Skid Row, this time to see @Nick_Chris_ & Sherie Rene Scott in @LittleShopNYC.
Nicholas is quickly becoming 1 our favorite Broadway actors. It takes a tremendous range to convincingly be able to play nebbishy Seymour, cocky Pirelli (@SweeneyToddBway), commanding...
