The Tram has become a tourist ride. The tourists have crowded out residents and workers. Some people struggle with the tram. Some give up.

Proud to be part of this initiative on International Day of Nelson Mandela! We were inspired to make a difference, no matter how small.
📸: To mark this week's #MandelaDay, UN colleagues in NYC volunteered in community projects including removing invasive plants & introducing new native species.
Every year, people are inspired to take action in their communities in honour of the life & legacy of Nelson Mandela.
