Saturdays are for the good stuff. 🥕 Every Saturday, Haki Compost volunteers are at Motorgate Plaza from 9AM-2PM. Bring your food scraps and keep them out of the landfill. Then stroll over to the farmers market at Good Shepherd Plaza for fresh, seasonal produce.

New Yorkers, a storm is arriving today.
Don't travel if you don't have to. Never drive or walk through floodwater.
Call 911 if you are in danger, and report nonemergency issues to 311.
Look out for one another and stay safe.

TRAVEL ADVISORY: Hey New Yorkers, a nor’easter is on the way! 🌧️💨
If you don’t have to travel, stay home and avoid unnecessary trips. Starting around 2 p.m., strong wind gusts could bring down trees and power lines.
Coastal flooding is expected to begin tonight and could be worst Saturday morning, especially in the Rockaways, around Jamaica Bay, and along Staten Island’s coast. If you live in a basement or low-lying area, know your exits and be prepared to move to higher ground if water starts rising.
Please be advised that due to the inclement weather expected, the Farmer’s Market will plan to be located under the helix tomorrow
