Alonso, why do you continue playing dumb? Targeting children, would mean the child was THE target, simply because of who the child was. Children dying in a warzone is just a fact of life, children dying in a strike that targets a terrorist, isn't targeting children, and you know it. And nobody is "terrified" about the Myanmar case. What we aren't staying silent about is the fact that the case doesn't require a single change in the law to find them guilty and the only reason to change it would be for political agendas, not justice or law.

NEW: Two Israeli soldiers were killed and three wounded this morning when two Palestinian gunmen opened fire at a temporary checkpoint near Hebron in the occupied West Bank.
The IDF named the dead as Staff Sgt. Ron Yonatan Roytman, 23, from Ashkelon, and Sgt. Yuval Shai Svilem, 20, from Hod Hasharon.
Netanyahu ordered preparations for a full closure of the West Bank ahead of Israelโs October 27 election.

So, the Biden administration knew that an American journalist was kidnapped and interrogated by the Israelis for doing his job and their only response was to do nothing. Got it.
I obtained 140 pages of internal State Department emails from when I was being imprisoned and interrogated by the IDF. The correspondence reveals that U.S. officials referred to me as โkidnappedโ by the Israeli military while explicitly refusing to consider me "wrongfully detained." Officials were informed of day-long interrogations and made aware of my detention in a notoriously abusive Israeli prison. The emails show no U.S. effort to intervene on my behalf, only a focus on PR and limiting political fallout.

I have generally valued the intellectual integrity of your publications. Although I disagree with much of what appears in the New Statesman, I remain an avid reader because I believe in understanding opposing views and broadening my perspective.
But publishing this piece about Owen Jones is an insult to your readersโ intelligence. Let us not kid ourselves, Owen Jones is an Idiot. Giving him the credibility of your publication is an editorial failure.
Your readers deserve serious arguments, even provocative ones. This falls well below that standard.

The report explicitly acknowledges that hatred toward Jews is NOT on the rise, and that only anti-Israel sentiments are increasing. And yet they STILL published a review claiming โantisemitismโ is a major problem in British schools, because "antisemitism" means "opposing Israel".
