Government decides what retirement age is FOR US and then punishes with lesser payments if we don't agree. They take money from us our entire lives, call it 'security' and then dictate when we are allowed to be financially 'insecure' enough to collect. And if you collect before age 67, accept the lesser amount as punishment, but also have to keep working to survice (cuz that's so much fun), they deduct $1 from your benefit payments for every $2 you earn above the annual limit. For 2025 that limit is $23,400. I'm sorry, but WHAT? This is criminal.
