Just killed off a character I really liked. Good news is, the main character is hurting even more than I am, which I guess is the goal!
Tried Sudowrite for the first time. Conclusion: it’s a fun tool, but it’s definitely not able to write books while I sip drinks on a beach 😆
Two more chapters to write until Book 1 in "Riders of Jade and Fire" is ready for editing and beta readers. #progress #amwritingfantasy
My 8 year old: (points to a book) Wow, they're the best author in the world?
Me: No, they're a "bestselling" author.
My 8 year old: Oh. Well, if you ever ask me, I'll always tell you you're the best author in the world, even if you're not really.
😂❤️
First cover concept for Book 1 in the "Riders of Jade & Fire" series is back from the designer. Now to speed up on finishing the novel itself 😄
My 8 yr old asked if I knew why she’s excited to get a computer next year. “So you can play games?” I guessed. “No. So you and I can write stories together.” ❤️🫠
Did not know about fake book decor until now! Wonder how much these sell for? Certainly faster to produce than real books 😂
