92% of world's GDP is committed to Net-zero 2050. Imagine what can happen to the British economy if we can tap into all that money.
The plan is simple - Make Britain the world leader in clean practices by achieving Net-zero in 2030 and then sell our innovations to the world.
Meet the Climate Party candidate for GREENWICH and WOOLWICH - Priyank Bakshi.
“A sustainable and prosperous future for Greenwich and Woolwich, and for our nation.”

India has lost a visionary leader, Mr. Ratan Tata, whose wisdom and integrity shaped the very fabric of Indian industry.
He showed us how to build empires with compassion and lead with a purpose beyond profit.
His aura was unmatched-no business leader today comes close to the humility and grace he embodied.
He inspired me to dream big and always keep people at the heart of every endeavor.
Rest in peace, sir-you will forever be an inspiration.

Getting to Net Zero is incredibly important. Equally important is building an economy to support the #RenewableEnergy infrastructure. The Climate Party will build the green industries to take the UK into a properous future.
Seven countries now generate 100% of their electricity from renewable energy: buff.ly/3QoK4r0

Climate related communications are being carefully watched by the public. There has been a rise in successful climate-based litigation, with high emissions businesses being targeted. theguardian.com/environment/… Over 7 years, of 140 climate-washing cases reviewed, 77 have officially concluded, 54 of which ended with a ruling in favour of the claimant.
Businesses need to protect themselves from litigation, but equally they have a responsibility to invest for the future. Make that investment in emissions reduction & renewable energy. The paybacks are short, the investment is in the business & the planet.

The #ClimateCrisis is both the easiest & the hardest issue ever faced. Easy b'cos we know we must stop greenhouse gas emissions. The hardest b'cos capitalism is totally dependent on CO2 producing #FossilFuels that destroy our ecosystems exclusively to make richer rich people.

Despite the heavy fuel oil ban, set for 1 July 2024, #Arctic marine #biodiversity is still under threat 🚢 "It is an important step but leaves significant gaps that continue to endanger Arctic marine biodiversity," says WWF Arctic's Elena Tracy 📷 arcticwwf.org/newsroom/featu…

A quick reminder for today
If the heat bothers you, plant a tree.
If the water bothers you, plant a tree.
If you like fruits, plant a tree.
If you like birds, plant a tree.
And if you like life, plant many trees.💚☘️🌿🌱🌳🌲🍀💚

Plastic in the oceans is ruinous enough. But by making plastic our world is also adding huge volumes of carbon dioxide & other dangerous emissions. We must reduce our carbon footprint on land, in the sea & in the atmosphere. Think of the Climate, when you vote in the election.
🐟 At least 14 million tons of plastic end up in the ocean every year, causing severe injuries and death to marine species that ingest or get entangled in plastic debris.
Our Issues Brief explains how we can tackle #PlasticPollution.

📢In just 2 weeks time, tens of thousands of people will march to Parliament to demand that whoever leads the next government, they do more to #RestoreNatureNow
The dire need is clear - pollution, species extinction and habitat decimation threatens not just wildlife, but our own future.
Funding and protection must be given to nature, polluters must pay for damage caused and emissions must be cut. Effective climate action must be taken. The solutions exist. No more broken promises. Urgent action must be taken. 🛟🌎
Will you be there? Can you spread the word?

My daughter got married earlier this year. I can’t sing for the life of me. I wrote what I wanted to say to her as a speech, entered it into ChatGPT, said, “Do rap lyrics for it,” it did, and then entered it into a music AI.
So I was able to blare it over the speakers, a personal rap song from me. Again, the human element was human. All of the messaging was from me. But the lyrics came from ChatGPT and the singing came from another AI. It extended my capability. It meant a lot to me.
