Motivating public employees has many facets. In this paper @JessBreaugh and myself combine insights from PSM, SDT and identity theory. We show that PSM behaves according to the laws of ' SDT physics' , with PSM resembling identified motivation. #IPMJ

What does evidence-based HRM actually mean? We developed a new definition based on a broad SLR as a basis for further research. Hopefully, this is only the first in a string of publications on what kind of HRM actually works.

This paper shows that, from the worker's standpoint, moderate levels of leader public service motivation (PSM) is most desirable. This is consistent with the too-much-of-a-good-thing (TMGT) effect.

Prachtig stuk over 'generatiebullshit', deze keer niet uit de mond van een wetenschapper, maar van iemand die in de praktijk staat maar tegelijk een overzicht heeft. Joris Philips, directeur bij VDAB Limburg @vdab

I made a similar point using the same image over on #LinkedIn and it seems some thought I was sharing the infographic because I thought it was true not because it was an illustration of #misinformation. So I went back and edited it.

I think what you're referring to here is possibly an age effect and almost certainly not a generational effect.
Generational differences of this kind don't seem to exist.

🤔What is the essence of PSM?
🧑🔬Inspired on works by @oneumann_ch, Carina Schott, Adrian Ritz, @WouterVdab... @JessBreaugh and I find that PSM predicts higher preference for doing non-identified work tasks.
💡The results support most recent conceptualizations of PSM
Hot off the press! @JessBreaugh & @Guillem_Ripoll conduct a #vignette #experiment with 1512 subjects & provide empirical evidence to differentiating #PSM from likeminded concepts. PSM is mainly oriented to society at large rather than individual users buff.ly/3j6KvFC
