This week, I joined labor leaders to celebrate the graduates of the @RecParkSF Gardener Apprenticeship program and to sign the first ever citywide Joint Apprenticeship Committee Agreement to advance more Union apprentices across SF and provide opportunities for working families.

It takes far too long to hire city workers -- an average of 250 days. To fix this, I funded a team to work on hiring reforms. The first reforms moving forward will cut the time to hire by at least 50%. This is just a first step, but it's a significant one. bit.ly/3Bke5Rk
