Here is my advice on how to write reader reports, for prospective interns/entry publishing employees.
The obvious caveat is that everyone has different standards. This is what I personally think is important vs. not important in a reader report.

Writers: Do yourself a favor and don't write book 2 of the series. Outline it, make notes, but don't actually write and polish it. Instead work on the next project. Book 1 can change in editing that it negatively affects book 2. Or book 1 might not sell at all.
