Our local brilliant poet needs your help to survive. His wit and humour have kept me sane over the last three years and now we'll need him more than ever! Since I'm virtually self-isolating, it's a bonus to be able to see a gig without having to leave the house :)

The poem ‘Death and Life’ (1890) is read by first using the top set of letters to complete the words on the middle line, and then the bottom set of letters. The endings of the words remain the same either way.

Lots of people have responded to my question about author self-promo: plenty of insightful, informed opinions in the thread below on what role an author should have, if any, in flogging their own books.
Should authors promote their own work? Is it effective? Authors: what's worked best for you? Readers: what makes you buy a book? Publicists: what moves the needle?
Next year I want to get a book promotion expert (ideally a publicist or bookseller) on the #podcast to give advice.
