Thank you all who supported this march, both physically and virtually. Continue to demand justice for Ugandan women kidnapped and murdered. Call on police to dedicate time and resources to resolve these gender crimes and protect women #WomensMarchUg 🙏🏿🙏🏿

Ready in court for the hearing of the #SexualAbuse #MakerereUniversity case by male lecturers in exchange for marks. No student should be subjected to #SexForMarks whatsoever. @WomensProtestUG #WomenLivesMatterUg @KuchuTimes #WithRachael
Several members of @WomensProtestUG are in court today to support our comrade Racheal Njoroge who was sexually assaulted by her lecturer. We condemn all forms of sexual violence against all women.
Thank you all for coming out last Saturday for #WomensMarchUG. Together we made history, we did what many said we couldn't. Our sisters and children deserve justice and we will continue to demand for it. Our job is not yet done, we will be sharing a list of follow up activities.

Today, we participated in a march against increasing cases of insecurity, killing, rape & kidnap of women in Uganda. Not even a single stone was pelted. Not even a single teargas canister was used. We want to see more of this cordial police-citizen co-operation #WomensMarchUG

Thank you @PoliceUg for letting the #WomensMarchUG go on unimpeded. As you saw, people can protest peacefully. You should let us exercise that right whenever we want to.

Mwebare ba afande mweeena! Those who kept watch and ensured Ugandans duly enjoy their freedom to assemble and protest! Thank you all who pushed through the hurdles put by POMA to bring us together to say women's safety is a matter of national importance. #WomensMarchUg

We were merely not here to gather, but to move and this required us to do more than just show up and say the right words. It required us to break out of our comfort zones, and be confrontational. It required us to defend women when it's difficult, and dangerous. #WomensMarchUg
