A blockbuster series of @asme_bed Medal Talks this morning at #SB3C2023. These talks are always one of my favorite parts of of the conference. Dr. Beth Winkelstein gave one of the best introductions I've seen. It was a beautiful tribute to Victor and their friendship!

I generally think of the @NSF as an agency that cares deeply about and uniquely supports engagement and retention of diverse students in STEM. But this decision is fundamentally misguided. @NSFGRFP: please consider the broader impacts of this policy.
