This article states that ghost gear makes up some 70% of plastics in the ocean. @thaiuniongroup are saying they will "collect abandoned, lost or discarded fishing gear to clean up the oceans". Hopefully this includes the mess left behind by #driftingFADs in their #tuna fisheries.
