My conviction is simple: the world is better when faith reminds us that we are all children of God and, therefore, brothers and sisters to one another.
It was my privilege to deliver these remarks as the closing keynote at the Forum On Faith this year at New York University. I titled my message “A World of Faith” to align with the evening’s theme, “From Dialogue to Repair: What Faith Can Do for a Fractured World.”
As the waters of the Solimões and Negro Rivers flow together to form the mighty Amazon, so our distinct gifts, joined in faith and charity, can carry hope far beyond our individual reach.
Together, as children of God, we can become a force for good in the world and help build a future marked by belonging, service, and hope.
Very well said!
“Sincerity doesn't make false doctrine true.”
@ScottRoberts post makes five assertions each of which depends on 4th–5th century creeds (Nicaea, Chalcedon) to define Christianity.
The Jesus of the creeds is not the Jesus revealed in scripture. The creedal language of "one substance" and "uncreated essence" appears nowhere in the Bible.

The Lord is hastening His work in every single way, both inside and outside His church!
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints currently has 385 total temples, including 222 dedicated temples, 13 scheduled for dedication, 53 under construction and seven scheduled for groundbreaking. The 90 temples in planning and design complete the total of 385. These six maps show the status of each house of the Lord around the world.
“It is amazing to see firsthand the construction and dedication of these new temples — sometimes two on the same day. We are grateful for the spiritual guidance President Dallin H. Oaks is receiving as the hastening of God’s work continues in a dramatic fashion," Elder Quentin L. Cook of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles told the Church News.

God has spoken again! There are prophets and apostles on the earth once more. A living God is avid that speaks and has a relationship with the living
Let us talk of Christ and God!
In AD 325 — three centuries after Christ — the emperor Constantine summons three hundred bishops to settle the nature of God. They pick a word: HOMOOUSIOS. "One substance." A term from Greek philosophy, found nowhere in the Bible.
In 1820, a fourteen-year-old farmboy walks into a grove and sees what Stephen saw in Acts 7: two distinct, glorified Persons.
How did an unschooled boy overturn fifteen centuries of creed — and land exactly on the God the first Christians knew?

The covenants and ordinances of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ are spiritual credentials that can open wide the heavenly windows of opportunity to receive in our lives divine purpose, direction, and strength. They provide the opportunity for promised blessings, which require ongoing faithfulness.
The Holy Ghost is also described in scripture as the Holy Spirit of Promise who ratifies or confirms as acceptable to God the righteous acts of His children. Thus, ordinances and covenants must be sealed by the Holy Spirit of Promise to be binding on earth and in heaven.
Just as you need an authorized stamp on a passport to enter a foreign country, so each of us needs the verifying witness of the Holy Spirit of Promise in order for us to receive the eternal blessings associated with the covenants and ordinances of the Savior’s gospel.
Receiving this ratifying sealing by the Holy Ghost typically is not a one-time event; rather, it comes over time as we repent sincerely and consistently, honor our covenants, and yield our hearts unto God.
Each of us should ever be grateful for sacred opportunities to “walk in all the ordinances of the Lord” (Doctrine and Covenants 136:4) and to receive by the Holy Spirit of Promise, “in process of time,” (Moses 7:21) the ratifying seal that guarantees all promised blessings.

“This is the Church of Jesus Christ, so named because it is His Church with the restored fulness of His doctrine and authority in these latter days.”

Jesus called twelve apostles during His mortal ministry and again in these last days before His second coming. This weekend they will speak to the world.
Hear the servants Christ has called, Hear the message Christ has for you!

If they were smart, they should have claimed wearing white first. Cause majority of men will be wearing white shirts already! 😂
Jokes aside, I will be wearing a white shirt in part this Sunday because we need to make our voices heard

In response, let’s wear white!! Please share so we can let the saints in Idaho know!!
When I start to see so much hate against the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I wonder what the cause of the increase is.
Then I realize we are less than 2 weeks away from prophets of God speaking to the world
