SPY Weekly Chart: Major Crashes vs. Minor Corrections (October 19, 2026) On my SPY weekly chart, price action in the recent period has featured two major crashes. All other declines have been minor corrections (shallower and shorter-lived). Major Crashes March 7 – April 25, 2025 Duration: ~1.5 months February 27 – April 2, 2026 Duration: ~1 month Minor Corrections Outside of the two major crashes above, pullbacks have remained relatively shallow and brief. Current Pullback Outlook I do not expect the recent pullback to last long, barring a black-swan event or a major unexpected fundamental shift. The character of the move so far aligns more closely with prior minor corrections than with the two major crashes above. Whale Accumulation (Panel 3) The whale accumulation reading has been a useful supporting indicator for the mid-term uptrend: 1. Readings above 80% have historically helped sustain the uptrend. 2. Before both major crashes, whale accumulation broke below the 80% level. 3. Holding above 80% has therefore been associated with trend continuation. 4. Current reading: 87.74% — still comfortably above the 80% threshold. Key Levels Support: 747, 758 Resistance: 780 @cantonmeow @niker8202 @gabz_investing @redfoxryder @sheslee @tonylee80

BREAKING: Russia’s President Putin has proposed a meeting with President Trump and President Xi to negotiate an end to the war with Ukraine, per WSJ. The meeting is proposed for next month and was floated on an October 9th phone call with President Trump. This was the same call that produced a deal for the US to buy Russian diesel.

I see a lot of smart people write off names like $NBIS or $CRDO just because they trend on FinX from time to time. The logic is usually: "Real alpha isn't in FinX stocks" But here is the reality: despite X's large audience, our little AI/FinX niche is so tiny that it means absolutely nothing to the broader market size or impact. You could invest in every single popular FinX stock, talk to a random person on the street who has been investing for 20 years, and they’ve likely never heard of these names. A stock trending or not trending on X is not evidence for or against it. People hating on mentions of $NBIS doesn't make the underlying investment any less appealing. Kindly asking: please, stop trading against the echo chamber and look at the actual business.

15 years ago, I knew what a breakout looked like. What I didn’t understand was that a valid setup and a setup worth trading are two very different things. Today, one of the first things I look for is clean price action. Here’s why: 1. Less volatility I want a base that becomes tighter and more controlled. Wide, erratic swings tell me there is still too much disagreement in the stock. 2. Clear structure VCPs, cup and handles, flat bases—the exact pattern matters less to me than how the stock behaves inside it. I want tightening ranges, higher lows and constructive price action. 3. Less overhead supply I prefer stocks that have already worked through much of the selling pressure. I don’t want my breakout running straight into traders waiting to get out. 4. Signs of demand Repeated support, tight closes and constructive volume behavior tell me buyers are willing to step in before the breakout. 5. Easier execution This may be the most underrated advantage. Clean setups make it easier for me to define my entry, my risk and the exact point where my thesis is wrong. That’s why I don’t trade a setup simply because I recognize the pattern. I want the price action inside that pattern to make the decision easier. A valid setup gets my attention. A clean setup gets much closer to my money.

I've been adding a ton of $NBIS because its ARR could potentially reach ~$51B by 2029 while the entire company trades around a $45B market cap today. That's less than 1x 2029 ARR for a business already reporting ~50% adjusted EBITDA margins in its core AI cloud operations with some capacity deals paying back in under two years. And I think Token Factory could become an even bigger opportunity as production workloads more than tripled in Q2 with open model inference growing giving Nebius a way to earn more from every GPU rather than simply renting out the hardware.

This is the EXACT process I use to prepare for my $100K months. If you trade stocks, spend 30 minutes doing this BEFORE Monday. Most traders spend their weekends looking for the next stock that’s going to explode. I start by figuring out which SECTORS are getting stronger. Here’s my weekend routine: 1. Scan the sector ETFs. Semis / Memory: $SMH $DRAM $SOXX AI Infrastructure: $DTCR Software / Cyber: $IGV $CIBR Power / Nuclear: $GRID $NLR Crypto / Fintech: $ARKF $WGMI Space / Defense: $ARKX $ITA Quantum / Robotics: $QTUM $BOTZ Resources: $GLD $SLV $COPX $REMX Economy: $IWM $XLF $XLE Healthcare: $XBI $XLV 2. Ask yourself these questions. What sectors are making new highs? Which are outperforming $SPY and $QQQ? What is holding above the daily and weekly 8/21 EMAs? What is building a base just below resistance? Where is volume expanding? What is showing strength even when the market is selling off? 3. Find the leaders. Once I identify the strongest sectors, I look at the individual stocks driving that strength. Memory might lead me to $MU or $SNDK. Semis might lead me to $NVDA or $AVGO. AI infrastructure might lead me to $DELL or $VRT. These are examples, not automatic buys. 4. Build the plan BEFORE the market opens. Mark the breakout levels. Identify where the retest should hold. Know where the trade is invalidated. Then WAIT for price to confirm. You don’t need to watch 100 stocks. You need to find the strongest stocks in the strongest sectors and have a plan for when they set up. The money is made in the preparation. The trade is just the execution. Save this and do the work before Monday.

Suddenly, you're 5 years in to trading and have nothing to show for it. You've tried it ALL. Daytrading. Options. Crypto. Prop firms. Perps. Futures. + whatever else people are doing. Some of it worked for awhile. You got excited. But then the same old habits bit you in the butt. Causing you to blow up. You don't want to stop trading (or maybe you can't). You love markets and want to figure this thing out. But don't know where to start...or what to stick with. On top of that, you're no longer the kid is his mid 20s with no mortgage, no kids, no big bills, and no responsibilities. It's a new chapter. Maybe you're married now. Have a big boy job. Nice apartment. Or house even. Kids soon. Whatever it may be. So the "pressure" to make money is higher. As a man, you carry this huge weight to provide for your fam so you can't afford (financially & mentally) to keep doing stupid stuff in the markets. That persona is probably all too familiar for many of you guys (me included at one point). So what's the next step? What do you do? Well I can only tell you what I did, step by step. 1) take the "money pressure" off. - have a stable income, some savings, business, or 9-5 job...whatever, just something to relieve to pressure to make money immediately Ok great, so now you have a couple grand coming in every month. This is essential. You don't HAVE to make $$$ right away. 2) once the money pressure is off, choose your strategy, vehicle, & risk framework. - which i confidently believe is swing trading common stock, using a trailing stoploss, riding strong stocks/themes/environments. I will die on this hill. Swing "trading" should effectively mirror buy & hold investing if done right via good stock picking, a good entry, & trailing stop. Your goal isn't to be a trader, it's to have a exponential return on invested capital. That's it. 3) Doing less button-clicking - part of why I started writing here on X or posting videos was to take me away from getting roped into trading more. find something (either related to trading or not) that takes your eyes off the charts...or prevents you from watching every candle the market IS the lever...not your skills, ai tradingbot, button clicking, indicators, or research even. time in the market AND timing the market 4) finding a partner, mentor, friend - might be a controversial one, but somebody needs to hold you accountable. As an active trader, there is just too much noise our ears daily to go at it solo. we need another human-being to act as a hybrid of our risk manager, coach, hype man, bully, friend, and more...all in one i've had the pleasure of meeting some great ones here on x and also working with a few folks myself now. 5) let trading decisions be made FOR you - remove yourself from the octagon of decision-making Limit orders at support levels, trailing stop losses, predetermined position sizes, rules. you might be good at finding great stocks, but you're probably bad at leaving great stocks alone. I was. Anyways. this post got a little bit long but THIS is what active investing should look like. I look at every single block of shares that I buy as its own entity. So if I buy 1000 shares of NVDA, that ledger line is its own entity & I treat it as a fully independent trade. It has its own trailing stop loss attached to it. I will do a longer post on this psychology. My entire philosophy can be boiled down to: Do the work to get in before the move. Enter the trade. Place your trailing stop. Leave it alone, your job is done. That's how your equity curve gets magnetized to the stratosphere.

Here is Stan Weinstein's checklist of when and what NOT to buy from his great book "Secrets for profiting in bull and bear markets". Make sure that you internalize and never violate any of these rules and thus avoid crappy stocks right from the beginning.

And it gets even crazier. 🤯 1,400 stocks are down 70%+ from their 52-week highs. Let that sink in. If you’re down 70%, you need roughly a 233% gain just to get back to breakeven.
You’re not gonna believe this. 5,000 stocks are down 20%+ from their 52-week highs. And it gets crazier… Nearly 4,000 are down 40%+. Think about what that actually means. While the major indices have held together, underneath the surface thousands of stocks have already been living through their own bear markets. The index looking fine while individual stocks are getting absolutely destroyed underneath it. Some seriously messed up shit when you actually look under the hood.

Always like seeing this kind of analysis. $VIX no new highs $SPY new lows One key thing missing is $QQQ 705 gap fill. If that fills and $VIX doesnt make a new high. We're gonna see a green Monday I will publicly apologise if this doesnt happen.
New $SPY low of the day but a lower $VIX high. That often (not always) indicates a reversal is near.

There is a lot on the table right now. Iran war. Oil. Rising inflation. KOSPI. Midterms. Poor breadth. Bond chaos. Then you still have to manage your own emotions, Your risk, Your stops and Your FOMO. And if somehow, after navigating all of that you make money. Then there’s Trump - one headline can change the entire mood of the market in minutes.

Worth reading about Volume.. Volume is one of the most important technical indicators for analysis because it is used to quantify the strength of a price move.
What Does Volume Mean In Stocks? Volume is like votes on the price of a stock as each trade is an agreement between a buyer and a seller to exchange shares. Technical traders look for correlations between price action trends and the increasing and decreasing of volume.  Volume is the quantity of stock shares that trades between buyers and sellers over a period of time on a chart. Volume can be measured on any time frame from the one minute, to the hour, or on the daily or weekly chart. Stock trading volume on the daily chart would be the number of shares traded from the open of the day to the close of the day. The volume of trading and the changes to the amount of volume over time, can be important technical inputs for traders. Liquidity can be the most important fundamental for a chart. Without volume making a stock liquid most other technical analysis doesn’t matter. Volume is needed both from buyers and  sellers to keep the bid/ask spreads tight for good order fills. A trader wants to focus on active names so they can have speed in the fills for their buy and sell orders. The farther a trader moves from the most active stocks and the major exchanges the slower and wider their fills will become. Volume is what creates technical levels as buyers wait at support levels to buy and sellers wait to distribute at resistance levels on a chart. Downtrends occur when there is a lack of buyers at key price levels so sellers have to go searching lower to exit. Uptrends occur when there is a lack of sellers at higher price levels so buyers have to go searching higher to find sellers willing to exit their shares. Don’t get confused, buyers and sellers are always equal in every trade transaction on a chart, but it is the price that changes on where they agree to let a stock change ownership.  Volume is one of the most important technical indicators for analysis because it is used to quantify the strength of a price move. The higher the volume during a swing or trend in price action, the more valid the move is. The lower the volume during a swing or trend in price action, the less valid the move is.  Volume can be an indicator of accumulation or distribution on a chart. Uptrends should see rising or steady volume on higher prices to validate the trend with buying pressure pushing prices higher showing accumulation and buying and holding for the stock increasing. Downtrends should see rising volume on lower prices to validate the trend with selling pressure pushing prices lower showing distribution and people exiting a stock. Breakouts from a price range have more validation and meaning when they occur on a higher than average volume.  Volume is primarily used to confirm a price move in technical analysis. Traders look for a confluence between higher volume and higher prices and also higher volume and lower prices. Bearish divergences between volume and price action occur when a stock chart makes a higher high in prices on lower than usual volume. Bullish divergences between volume and price action occur when a stock chart makes a lower low in prices on lower than usual volume. Both these divergences could signal a reversal in price action from the current trend. A large reversal in price action from the current trend along with a large increase in volume can signal a high probability that the current trend has ended and the next move could be in the opposite direction or at least sideways. Many times a reversal in a trend will show a large reversal candle on a chart that ends in the opposite direction of the current trend along with a large spike in volume.  On days when price ends higher volume can be marked green and considered bullish. On days when price ends lower volume can be marked red and considered bearish. This classification means the volume on that day was primarily one sentiment even though all the trades were not necessarily bullish or bearish just that the move was primarily in one direction.
