'If I quit writing and disappeared tomorrow, would anyone notice?'
Ah, the core tendril that imposter syndrome works so hard into a long-time #indieauthor , myself included.
Yes, others care. Yes, we notice.
Your work matters.
YOU matter.

This year's Self-Published Fantasy Blog-Off by @Mark__Lawrence, is coming down to the wire! That's why we are pleased to announce our #TBRCon2024 panel, SPFBO 9 Finalists! With ALL the finalists! @waterstonebooks, @ClaytonSnyder2, RK Ashwick, @newcmcaplan, @WendRaven, ... 👇
Thank you for reading! ♥️
Just finished "Master of the Void" by @WendRaven. This one deserves a lot more attention. Great world-building, interesting magic system, and an intriguing plot about what to do (and what not to do) when you're born without magic in a world full of mages. Give it a look!

I hope all the contestants in, and followers of, the #SPFBO will give these 10 excellent finalists a retweet.
Acknowledging of course that many fine books have fallen by the wayside as we turned 300 into 10.

This year I actually managed to get a photo with the #SPFBO finalists who made it to @BristolCon to get their coins awarded in person!
Trudie Skies (The Thirteenth Hour) & @WendRaven (Master of The Void)
(@RoboftheHayes would have been there for his 2nd, but for the flooding).

I have finalist coins for whoever is chairing the #SPFBO panel at @BristolCon to hand out to any coinless finalists who attend!
(possible awardees include @WendRaven & Trudie Skies)
Honestly, the writing/book-loving community has been the most amazing part of this journey. Thank you so much @Alex_Hopchurch and I wish great success upon The Fires of Time!

This is such a fun idea! Thanks @SWHannahAuthor for putting in all the work and giving us each a chance! I’m speechless 🥹
Now that's an opening. Love the horror vibe, very promising. Effective prose, made me care about those mages pretty quick. Excellent work, excited for this.
