The U.S. military has 60+ bases in Korea and 800+ worldwide. All of them pose grave threats to local ecosystems.

A chemical leak at a weapons plant just displaced 40,000 people in California.

40,000 residents of Garden Grove, California have been evacuated in the wake of a toxic chemical leak from GKN Aerospace.
The leak began on Thursday, May 21, when a 34,000-gallon tank of methyl-methacrylate began to overheat. Many evacuated residents have already reported facing respiratory issues from breathing fumes and explained that in many cases the evacuation orders were slow and uneven, criticizing the response from local and state authorities.
