ICYMI, over the weekend this "independent journalist" "got Lindner" to "admit that Talarico was in their mental health facility". Immediately thereafter, all of Con Inc. inc. Benny Johnson, Nick Sortor, Sara Gonzalez, and the rest of them jumped on it claiming that it was "100%" confirmed" and that "legacy media had failed, so they had to do the job for them." There are a lot of problems with this that will be the focus of today's posts, but let's start with the biggest one: It was all fake. It would have been a massive HIPAA violation if the facility HAD been on this "phone call" with "Rhein" (more on "Rhein" later) and stated Talarico was there. It is NOT a HIPAA violation for what they did - publicly stating Talarico was never there, because there's no HIPAA rules for a non-client. Everybody that published this "story" - from "Rhein" who fabricated it to Benny who said it was "confirmed" to Nick who ran with it to Matt Von OMG I'M RADICALIZED have exposed themselves to IMMENSE civil liability by doing so. Not just from the Talarico camp for any damage that might have been done to the campaign, but mostly Lidner itself, whom is now facing malicious defamatory accusations of MAJOR HIPAA violations. They could sue each one of these "journalists" for 10s of millions each. And they should.
