Accepted defeat when we got a red today, accepted defeat when the opposition got a red last week anarl.
Despite not agreeing with the teamsheet, one of my biggest gripes today is that imo regis accepted the defeat after the red card Going down to 10 men doesn’t mean the games over, is it harder? Obviously. But go compact, get pace on the counter and attack the space they leave when they’re pushing people forward to pressure us We didn’t make any changes til the second half at 2-0 and then at that point it was damage limitation No attempt whatsoever to get a dangerous gameplan with 10 men, you didn’t have to sacrifice your defence, you just make a forward change for more pace, direct wingers, to get away quickly #SAFC

Blames a busy schedule: Danso didn't play Thursday It was Riggs first minutes in a month on Thursday. Xhaka, Reinildo, Mukiele and Le fee only played 30 minutes. Oh and 90% of the squad had 3 weeks off prior to last weekends game. Busy schedule can't be the excuse right now.

Oh and if the schedule is the problem maybe use your best winger who isn't even in the squad for Europe, hasn't had a game since hull, is well rested and fit and is better on the wing than the right back you play every fucking game on the wing to balance the work load. Idiot.

Alderete again. At fault for both goals, at fault for Danso's sending off. He needs fucked off

Regis has too much credit in the tank for me to call for his head 7 games into the season but it's clear as day that he is the problem here. 3 wingers on the bench and he starts a right back there. It instantly puts us on the back foot because we can't attack down the right.

So we try and force it down the left and it causes us problems because it's so easy to defend against. Tactics never change whether we're winning, drawing or losing. It's stick and insist with what was decided pre game. We look like we're 2-3 men down not 1.

Regis needs to suck up his own pride and forget what his agenda is against talbi because we're effectively playing with 9 here, Tuterov is nowhere to be seen, whenever the ball goes forward he's not there, when we're defending he's not there.

Both times they've put it through both Danso and Alderete are fucking donkeys.

I don't hate it. I mean I don't love it either.

Feel like Talbi through the centre would be better than Tuti but I also think Tuti is a better option to tall Angulo so meh

100% win rate in Europe for Sunderland, no European football for Newcastle topped off with a 4-1 loss to Coventry with former Sunderland favourite Ellis Simms on the scoresheet. Newcastle really are a pathetic club.
1-0 down against a part-time team in Portugal. @SunderlandAFC really are a pathetic club. #SAFC #NUFC #Sunderland

Main thing to come out of tonight for me is how good Ahoka is, was brilliant against hull, brilliant again tonight, probably one of the only players who can walk away saying they had a good game. Needs more time in the prem because there's a real player there
