ALT Taking any innocent life is wrong. I do not condone what Hamas did on that day. But the disproportionate Israeli response against Palestinian civilians that unfolded, accompanied by full support from the Biden administration, profoundly altered my perception of the Democratic Party and forced me to question its commitment to its guiding principles.
