ALT SB5233/HB1445 - The Washington Health Trust, our comprehensive universal healthcare bill SB 5955 would remove insurance companies from Apple Health/Medicaid within one year of passing. SB 5948 would empower the Universal Health Care Commission and provide clear deadlines for deliverables. SB 5948 would expand Medicaid from 138% of the Federal Poverty Level to 300%, allowing many more people to be covered. SJR 8206 would provide constitutional protection for Cost-effective, clinically appropriate, and affordable healthcare. SB 5947 would establish a board to create a universal healthcare system after receiving important federal waivers.
