The I-94 East-West reconstruction is a massively important and complicated project. Yesterday, a handful of state lawmakers got to see why, joining our members on a 2-hr. tour of the early west and east legs. Thanks to them for taking the time and our crews for giving us access!

The Wisconsin River Bridges on I-39/90/94 carry 60,000 vehicles a day. Soon, the final cars will cross the 65-year-old bridges as crews prepare to open the NEW northbound side and begin shift to southbound. We checked out the progress last week w/ @Kraemer_NA & @HNTBCorp

Wishing a happy birthday of sorts to the U.S. interstate system! On this day in 1956, Pres. Eisenhower signed the Federal Aid Highway Act, helping launch a massive effort to create a robust freeway system across the US. Many WTBA members have and continue to build that system.

We're excited to add a couple of big names to our membership ranks. Welcome @rwbaird and @thebiggreenw! Their unanimous approval at our Board meeting this week pushed us to 17 new members since the start of FY2026.

State Patrol pulled over 21 drivers doing an average of 19 MPH over the posted speed limit in the I-94 work zone near Eau Claire late last week. Some were going 20-24 MPH over. Thanks to WSP for your partnership in helping keep our crews safe!
