Your comments are deeply disturbing. President Machel died in South Africa coming from a meeting in Lusaka which concerned itself about the liberation of the oppressed people in South Africa and elsewhere. This is deeply revealing of the type of politics you and your party advance. Peace loving South Africans know that the costs of freedom was borne not only by South Africans, the frontline states like Mozambique also paid the ultimate price for our freedom.

lnkd.in/p/dHxStPM5 A case that ultimately revolved around a software button, its labelling, and the act of clicking it. The button in question? “Submit As Final.” What an interesting case study in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience (UX) design, and usability engineering! The proceedings went on and on, with arguments centred on how a button in the system was supposed to function. We heard claims that “You did not press the final button,” while lawyers debated the system’s design, functionality, and the implications of interacting with it. But this raises some fundamental questions about software design: 1. Should this button exist in its current form? 2. Is the label “Submit As Final” sufficiently clear and intuitive? 3. Should a system rely on users understanding the distinction between submitting and submitting as final? 4. What responsibility does the system designer have to prevent user error? 5. How should this IEC “innovative” system be designed to ensure usability, clarity, and an unambiguous user experience? When the design and functionality of a button become central to a legal dispute, perhaps the bigger question is whether the system was designed with the user in mind. After all, good interface design should not merely provide functionality; it should make that functionality clear, predictable, and difficult to misuse. #button #iec #systemdesign #userexperience #humainteractiondesign #usabilitygoals #system #design #functioning #click

And then, just when you think you know it all, you learn the nuances and sensitivities between leading other people and being a leader of leaders, which is the pinnacle of leadership” - Bonang Mohale [Lift As You Rise]

#NapoleonHill once wrote, “Welcome difficult challenges, for the greatest opportunities will come from challenges that force you to expand your mind as you search for creative solutions. During life’s bleakest hours, take solace in the fact that you are strengthening yourself through struggle so that in the future you will be prepared to take on even greater challenges. Like the old oak tree, you grow strong only when you are forced to struggle.     The average person would have quit at the first failure. That’s why there have been many average men and only one Edison”.
