Last night I attended a serious flat fire. It was the first time I have seen one of our new smoke curtains in use. Great piece of kit well received by the crews. @DSFireUpdates implemented as one of the Grendel recommendations. Great effort by all crews.

On the Fire Dynamics Module we talked about Thermal Runaway in batteries and looked at some recent incidents involving scooters on charge in houses. This video is purported to be a fire involving batteries on a battery powered bus, future research #firecadets #fire #firetraining
