So sad to hear about Bernard Cribbins. I met him on a B.A. Shuttle to London as a kid, he asked me if I was a member of the Junior Jet Club. He said he was! I reminded him of that conversation when he guest starred as Jolly Jack Tar in Worzel.....

RIP Bernard Cribbins. A true all-time great, an institution, a part of our childhoods. From Dr Who to dramas, from Jackanory to the voice of countless cartoons and adverts. He did it all. It's inconceivable that he's gone.
Sad to hear that Bernard Cribbins has died. The voice of Jackanory and the Wombles, and Jolly Jack Tar in Worzel Gummidge.
