i find it legitimately devastating that we’re going to lose an entire generation of brilliant child stars because of how they were mistreated in service of our entertainment.

It really reminds me of when KENTA was brought into WWE, debuted first and inadvertently got his thunder stolen by Finn Balor. Obviously injuries and other factors did play into “Hideo Itami” not succeeding in WWE but the shine was quickly removed from their new toy.
Giulia debuted before Stephanie Vaquer and got her chain snatched almost immediately. No injuries, they were treated as equals in NXT, they just don’t get Giulia; same way they didn’t really get KENTA. There are other factors that I could get into as to why Vaquer and Finn got over and what WWE leaned into to get them there, but that’s a brainrot-ass conversation that I don’t wanna get into.
