He used to have a deep voice and speak in a really severe and dramatic way before all his health issues. Here’s Frank Miller in 1987 discussing The Dark Knight Returns:

I would never ever have guessed that that's what Frank Miller sounds like

STRAIGHT EDGE IS THE COMPLETE REJECTION OF SOCIETY GROOMING YOU TO PARTAKE IN DRUG CULTURE. I SAY IT EVERY YEAR: IT IS ONE OF THE FEW REAL COUNTER CULTURE MOVEMENTS LEFT. ITS MORE PUNK TO BE EDGE. ITS TRUE REBELLION. EVERYONE DOES DRUGS, WHY DO YOU WANNA DO WHAT EVERYONE DOES?

4 years ago today on Dark: Elevation, Athena wrestled and annihilated Jody Threat in Canada. In hindsight, one of the most important matches for AEW/ROH Women’s division. This had people believing that Athena was legit shooting on wrestlers.

I think the reason pro wrestling is in a creative lull right now is because for some reason the two biggest promotions have stopped mirroring society. Almost every story is I’m a better wrestler rather than you or I want to be the champion, rather than something that’s relatable.

Giant Baba once said that the UWF roster seemed to believe that their Shooting was something beyond Pro Wrestling. He felt the opposite. That Pro Wrestling was a culmination of all martial arts, including Shooting itself. Suwama vs. Funaki is Babaism They walked the King's Road

Bad News & Tattoos
@CarlieBravoOct 10
In the last 10 days I've wrestled: Josh Alexander. Brady Pierce. Jon Moxley. Daniel Garcia. Isaiah Bronner. Swerve Strickland. I just debuted at DEFY. I am the current 1FW heavyweight champion. I am the current Atlanta Wrestling Entertainment GWC unified Heavyweight champion. And 8 days from now, I go one on one with LEV for the Southern Honor Wrestling heavyweight championship. I am 1/2 of one of the best tag teams on the planet. The work speaks for itself. The hustle cashes its own checks. The pressure made me a diamond. The spotlight only made me shine brighter. I'm the best wrestler in the south and we still just getting started. Win Or Lose, It's Bad News & Tattoos.
