Breaking, dangerous and of utmost importance. We have heard from a reliable source that there is indeed a US proposal to replace/annul Jordanian custodianship over Al Aqsa/Temple Mount, corroborating a May 25 report in Mideast Eye: middleeasteye.net/news/pales…  We have been told that a document has been circulated proposing to replace Jordanian custodianship with that of a consortium of international/interfaith parties, including Muslim/Arab and Jewish representatives, and coming from Jared Kushner/Arieh Lightstone or those closely in their orbit.  We have also been informed that the proposal was circulated among regional stakeholders and has encountered fierce opposition.

Breaking, and of utmost importance. On May 19, Smotrich ordered the demolition and evacuation of Khan al-Ahmar, a Bedouin hamlet adjacent to E-1. For many years, Khan al-Ahmar was the humanitarian equivalent of E-1, to which it is intimately related. The demolition of Khan al-Ahmar is a humanitarian crime so serious that it became viewed universally as a red line that Israel should not be allowed to cross - just as E-1 is the ultimate geopolitical red line. For many years, Netanyahu did not allow E-1 and the demolition of Khan al-Ahmar to proceed. He is now allowing both. Left unattended, the demolition of Khan al-Ahmar could be a matter of days. E-1 will reach the point of no return shortly thereafter. See our linked analysis. drive.google.com/file/d/1SX7…

Every condemnation directed at Itamar Ben Gvir is more than justified. It's a good thing that Netanyahu has nothing to do with the appointment of Ben Gvir as National Security Minister, and the way Ben Gvir has conducted himself in office Ben Gvir is not the face of Israel. Netanyahu is the face of Israel, and Netanyahu's face is identical to Ben Gvir's, with the addition of purple hair, caked makeup, and diction. This is all on Netanyahu. If you didn't have the balls to direct your totally justified disgust and outrage at Netanyahu, and to hold him accountable, please spare me your hollow theatrics and hand-wringing.

I offer my support to those who advocate for the abolition of the death penalty in the United States of America and around the world. I pray that your efforts will lead to a greater acknowledgement of the dignity of every person, and will inspire others to work for the same just cause. vatican.va/content/leo-xiv/e…

Those who pray are aware of their own limitations; they do not kill or threaten with death. Instead, death enslaves those who have turned their backs on the living God, turning themselves and their own power into a mute, blind and deaf idol (Ps 115:4–8), to which they sacrifice every value, demanding that the whole world bend its knee. Enough of the idolatry of self and money! Enough of the display of power! Enough of war! True strength is shown in serving life. #Peace

Jerusalem's sacred trifecta - the Western Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, and Al Aqsa - have all reopened after 41 days for worshipers and pilgrims.
The Western Wall in Jerusalem reopened to the public on April 9, 2026, after a 40-day closure due to security restrictions during the war with Iran. The Western Wall Heritage Foundation announced the reopening, and thousands flocked to the prayer plaza, resuming full activity, including visits to the Western Wall Tunnels.

An American president threatening the death of an ancient civilization is in some ways the end of the 250-year moral experiment of a constitutional republic that the framers saw as a model for all mankind.

💥Menachem Begin, the former Etzel leader, democrat, believer in peace & in the rule of law, does not scape by the sanest part of what's left of Netanyahu's 2026 lawless, messianic Likud. He'd be thrown out like Tzipi Livni, Limor Livnat, Dan Meridor. Watch this & be amazed.

In the light of #Easter, let us allow ourselves to be amazed by Christ! Let us allow our hearts to be transformed by his immense love for us! Let those who have weapons lay them down! Let those who have the power to unleash wars choose peace! Not a peace imposed by force, but through dialogue! Not with the desire to dominate others, but to encounter them!

Compulsory reading. Ironically, Ehud Olmert has become the most prominent Israeli voice focusing on Israel's war crimes in the West Bank. He is emphatically and unequivocally calling for the intervention of the international community, including that of the ICC.
Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Saturday that Jews are committing killings, "ethnic cleansing," and "crimes against humanity" in the West Bank v.aa.com.tr/3892115

Netanyahu demonstrably cast his own ballot, even though the bill would have passed without him. A collossal big finger directed at Israel's European allies, who had clearly conveyed their deep concern.
⚡️🚨 BREAKING: The Israeli Knesset approves in three readings the law of "executing Palestinian prisoners" Ben Gvir tried to open a champagne bottle in the Knesset hall to celebrate the approval of the death penalty law for Palestinian prisoners, but the Knesset guards did not allow him to do so.

💥When Itamar Ben Gvir (who never served because the IDF then rejected his sort) guzzled bubbly & drooled with joy, a noose on his lapel, he already knew that 4 soldiers were KIA in Lebanon and that, at the same time, another dead soldier, an only son, was being buried in Holon.

💥Israeli President Isaac Herzog called the Cardinal to express his great sorrow over the events of today
I just called the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Beatitude Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, to express my great sorrow over this morning's unfortunate incident in the Old City of Jerusalem, in which Cardinal Pizzaballa and the Custos of the Holy Land, the Most Reverend Fr. Francesco Ielpo, were prevented from entering the Church of the Holy Sepulchre for prayers amid the ongoing security situation. I clarified that the incident stemmed from security concerns due to the continuous threat of missile attacks from the Iranian terror regime against the civilian population in Israel, following previous incidents in which Iranian missiles fell in the area of the Old City of Jerusalem in recent days. I reaffirmed the State of Israel's unwavering commitment to freedom of religion for all faiths and to upholding the status quo at the holy sites of Jerusalem.

1/ It is sad beyond words. These photos allow to expose something important that has gone unnoticed. As tragic as it is, the decision to close the Holy Sepulchre, as well as the Western Wall and Al Aqsa is reasonable. Deadly missile fragments have landed nearby.
This is what the streets of the Old City of Jerusalem, near the Church of the Holy Sepulchre look like on the eve of Palm Sunday… Sad and truly heartbreaking! Pray for peace and for Eastern Christians.

💥Rabbi Gilad Kariv, a Labor Party Knesset member, apologizes to Cardinal Pizzaballa and Israeli Christians "for the ugly and unnecessary event today."
On behalf of many Israelis, I wish to apologize to Cardinal Pizzaballa and the Christian citizens of Israel for the ugly and unnecessary event today at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. I call on the President and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to intervene immediately in this situation and to ensure freedom of access and worship for the Christian churches in Jerusalem during ahead of Easter, in accordance with Home Front Command guidelines, while demonstrating maximum sensitivity and the utmost respect.

💥The Democrats (Labor Party) Leader Yair Golan: "A total disgrace. The Israeli government prevents the Latin Patriarch, Cardinal Pizzaballa, a man of peace and a humanist, from entering the Church of the Holy Sepulchre at the start of Holy Week and the Easter holiday. A great insult to the Catholic Church and to the entire Christian world. The Declaration of Independence, which promises freedom of religion and protection of the holy sites, is being trampled upon by this reckless, failed government that shames the tolerant and respectful majority of Israeli citizens."
