Pope Leo XIV's doctors announced on Saturday morning that Pope Leo XIV is fit to be discharged from Gemelli Hospital.
In a statement from the Holy See Press Office, Dr. Luigi Carbone and Professor Stefano Margaritora said the Pope underwent blood tests and a chest X-ray in the morning, which confirm that his clinical condition allows for him to leave hospital.
The Holy See Press Office said he will return to the Vatican on Saturday afternoon and pray the Angelus on Sunday from the window of the papal apartment.

Nearly two decades later, Nadim’s son, Canaan Khoury, helped launch Taybeh Winery in 2013, with the ambition of putting Palestinian wine on the world map.
The Khourys are a Palestinian Christian family based in Taybeh, near Ramallah. Their winery is among the notable names in Palestinian winemaking, alongside Cremisan Winery in Beit Jala, run by the Salesian monks and renowned for its long winemaking tradition dating back to 1885.
Together, these wineries represent an important part of Palestine’s viticultural heritage and its continuing efforts to bring Palestinian wines to international markets.

In Gaza, the Christian community lives among ruins. In the West Bank, it lives under occupation, under attack from Israeli settler terrorists, and under growing Islamist pressure.
Words will not save us. Unless that reality changes, Palestinian Christians are at real risk of vanishing from the land where our faith was born.
