It was a joy to celebrate the winners of our Group Management Awards this weekend in Edinburgh, and as coincidence go - this was a great one... On Saturday evening, after we all hurried into taxis to escape the evening's rain, the group in mine engaged in usual conversation with the driver about our visit to the city – long story short – our @thetaxicentre business was brought up, and unbelievably, the one taxi that we were sat in happened to be the only one in Edinburgh with a bespoke Taxi Centre livery, which you can see below. The driver happened to be a customer of ours named Terry Dickson - Terry bought a vehicle from us at a roadshow back in September 2023. Our excellent Taxi Centre Field Sales Manager, Jordan Walker, agreed a deal with Terry for Servicing in exchange for the Taxi Centre livery, and it looks fantastic. As Scotland’s leading retailer of London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC) vehicles, we hope to see more #TheTaxiCentre taxis like this one on the roads of Edinburgh, and beyond. It was great to meet you, Terry! @VertuMotors #VertuMotorsplc #TheTaxiCentre #LEVC #Edinburgh

The Group is proud to finally be able to share that Jessica Gregorio, one of our Senior Creative Designers based at our Gateshead Marketing Studio, has had her design selected for a new commemorative 50p coin celebrating 50 years of @KingsTrust – a truly remarkable achievement. Jess’s winning design was unveiled by @RoyalMintUK and she had the honour of meeting His Majesty King Charles III to present to him with his coin in person. Congratulations, Jess! We are proud to have such great talent within the Group. Full story >> vertumotors.com/news/north-e… #TheKingsTrust #Vertu #Design

Today marks a historic day for the Group as we have rebranded Macklin Motors to #Vertu. This move allows us to draw upon the strength of our wider dealership network. Our websites were successfully consolidated this afternoon. To celebrate the rebrand and our ongoing commitment to the communities we share with our customers in Scotland, Vertu will be conducting a synchronised Food Drive on Wednesday 19th February to support several foodbanks across the Central Belt. All 19 participating dealerships spread across Dunfermline, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Ayr will simultaneously make their way to various local foodbanks. The aim is to relieve some of the pressure these organisations face during the post-Christmas period, and more specifically, the Half-Term break for schools in the region. Find out more >> investors.vertumotors.com/ne… We look forward to this next chapter as #Vertu

It is Christmas Party time and ⁦@DunstonSilver⁩, the brass band we have supported for years are here again to welcome us!
