बाईक टॅक्सीसाठी महाराष्ट्राचा परवाना लागू न केल्यामुळे यांना मोकळे रान मिळालं आहे. नेपाळी सुद्धा इथे बाईक टॅक्सी चालवत आहेत. उद्या नायजेरियन सुद्धा चालवतील. परिवहन विभागाने यावर लक्ष द्यावे.

Indian middle class isn't working 10-12 hours everyday to become rich anymore.
They're working to buy protection from Govt failures.
Private school for children.
Private hospital for parents.
Car because public transport is pathetic.
Air purifier because clean air itself became luxury.
Water purifier because you can't trust tap water.
Gated society because basic security isn't guaranteed.
And Govt still arrives every month before everyone else to collect its share.
You pay for governance and then pay again because governance didn't deliver.

CM मोहन यादव की सरकार ने भोपाल ग्लोबल इन्वेस्टर्स समिट में 30,77,00,00,00,000 यानी 30.77 लाख करोड़ रुपए के निवेश का दावा किया था. गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने मंच से इस आंकड़े की घोषणा की. लेकिन जब इस दावे की पड़ताल हुई तो निवेश प्रस्तावों की सूची में बंद हो चुकी मोमोज की दुकान से लेकर चिकनी आत्मा तक के नाम मिले.
सबसे पहले खर्च का हिसाब समझिए-
मार्च 2024 से नवंबर 2025 के बीच सरकार ने निवेशकों को आकर्षित करने और इसके प्रचार-प्रसार व आयोजनों पर करीब 230 करोड़ रुपए खर्च किए.
इसमें निवेश सम्मेलनों और बैठकों पर 186.64 करोड़ रुपए, CM की तीन विदेश यात्राओं पर करीब 34 करोड़ रुपए और देश के नौ शहरों में निवेश बैठकों पर 9.05 करोड़ रुपए खर्च हुए. रुपए किस कदर बहाए गए इसका अंदाजा लगाइए कि अकेले भोपाल के दो दिवसीय ग्लोबल इन्वेस्टर्स समिट पर करीब 82 करोड़ रुपए खर्च किए गए.
अब जरा 30.77 लाख करोड़ रुपए के निवेश के दावे की हकीकत भी देखिए-
एक बंद हो चुकी मोमोज की दुकान Mishti Momos के नाम पर 50 करोड़ रुपए, एक हेयर सैलून के नाम पर 3,000 करोड़ रुपए, चिकनी आत्मा के नाम पर 5 करोड़, दरवाजे पर वसीयत के नाम पर 1 करोड़, व्यवसायी के नाम पर 15 करोड़, शोरूम के नाम पर 5 करोड़ और कंप्यूटर के नाम पर 100 करोड़ रुपए के निवेश प्रस्ताव दर्ज मिले.
इसके अलावा, किसान, नॉट एप्लीकेबल, बहनों का संग्रह, अक्टूबर और किसान मोर्चा जैसे नामों में से प्रत्येक के नाम पर 200 करोड़ रुपए के निवेश प्रस्ताव दर्ज थे.
वैसे, मैं भी यही सोच रहा हूं कि ये कैसे अंड-बंड, संड टाइप नाम हैं, जो करोड़ों-अरबों के निवेश प्रस्तावों की सूची में शामिल हैं.
हैरानी की बात है कि Kaymli Ventures नाम की एक कंपनी के नाम पर 3 लाख करोड़ रुपए का निवेश प्रस्ताव दर्ज था. जबकि कंपनी के वित्तीय रिकॉर्ड के मुताबिक 2024-25 में उसका कोई राजस्व नहीं था और साल के अंत में उसके पास नकद व बैंक बैलेंस मिलाकर सिर्फ 10,556 रुपए थे.
है न कमाल
सरकार ने 30.77 लाख करोड़ रुपए के निवेश का जो दावा किया है, अब जनता को यह भी बताया जाना चाहिए कि हकीकत में कितना निवेश आया, कितनी परियोजनाएं जमीन पर उतरीं और इस पूरे प्रचार का ठोस आर्थिक परिणाम क्या रहा. सरकार सिर्फ आंकड़े घोषित करके तो सवालों से मुक्त नहीं हो सकती.

The Gateway of India was built in Bombay. The Taj Mahal Palace opened in Bombay. Marine Drive became the Queen’s Necklace in Bombay. Victoria Terminus, the Rajabai Clock Tower and Bombay’s extraordinary Art Deco district emerged from Bombay’s evolution as a global city.
Bombay gave India Dadabhai Naoroji, Pherozeshah Mehta, Homi Bhabha, Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar, Farokh Engineer, Chief Justice S.H. Kapadia and great industrialists from the Tata legacy. It nurtured a world-class financial centre, a textile revolution and the Hindi film industry.
Bombay’s identity has been shaped by the Kolis, Parsis, Gujaratis, Sindhis, Marwaris, Marathi communities and diverse communities from across India. Bombay is a city, a culture and an emotion, built by generations of people who built it and called it home.
The 1995 renaming was a political decision. It cannot make that history disappear, or render the identity of millions who knew it as Bombay any less legitimate.
Call it Mumbai if you wish. But don’t force me to. And don’t reduce the history of a great city to serve a single community or a single political narrative.

Mumbai is named after Mumbadevi, the patron goddess of the fishing community. Not for some local language pride. The original name of Mumbai is Bombay. It was a city created by artificially reclaiming around 7 islands. Bandra for example is still called Bandra Reclamations (technically). This project was Bombay!
Usually local language respect etc can be claimed when the original name was XYZ and then the English anglicised it.
