So many podcasts fizzle the end or duck a resolution. Not #TheGirlfriends It ties the threads – then delivers a killer SEVEN minute rollcall of women missing or murdered in NY since 7 July 1985, when Gail Katz suspiciously disappeared. A choir of female voices swirls in support💔
. @n1ck_alexander and Daniel Kempson took that gorgeous choral score and wove it into the mix with so much care and consideration.
The greatest lesson I learned from Gail and her story was perfectly summed up by @AnnaSinfield:
Hold your Girlfriends tight.
Drink wine.
Gossip.
These are no frivolous things. It’s what keeps us safe and heard.
