My fellow Democrats, I have decided not to accept the nomination and to focus all my energies on my duties as President for the remainder of my term. My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best decision I’ve made. Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this.

Faith Lutheran Church in Cambridge was lovingly and proudly built by local Swedish immigrants over 100 years ago — but this week, the church was engulfed by a massive fire. Join me in making a tax deductible contribution to the church's Building Fund via faithcambridge.org/giving

Our hearts and prayers go out to the church, their members, and the neighbors. We were across the street with the kids at the playground when it began, and we learned the fire is still going.

And another change in policy —lifting mask mandated right after school vacation. This will continue the confusion.
Only 51% of children aged 5-11 have received their first covid shot. No vaccine for kids under 5. Yet--@massgovernor decided to lift the mask mandate for schools? How can this be safe for schools--students, families and educators?
"The last-minute scramble by DESE to provide 200,000 test kits to educators jeopardizes our attempts to maintain safe in-person learning as schools reopen after the holiday break," said MTA President Merrie Najimy. #mapoli #maedu massteacher.org/news/2021/12…

Ensure a safe return to school during the Omicron spike. Use this template from @massedjustice to send a letter to your superintendent asking for a delayed start of in-person learning. bit.ly/3zelgIy

This is a troubling thread about the masks being distributed in MA public schools.
I looked more into the issue first reported last night by @mikesacconetv regarding poor KN95 masks provided to teachers by DESE/MEMA and I think I've figured it out. Short version: either MEMA bought the wrong masks on the cheap, or they were duped. xitter.cf/mikesacconetv/status/1… 🧵
