“This sign is bigger than me” 🤣🤣 had some fun on the campaign trail yesterday morning with Governor Healey and Sen. DiDomenico in Everett Square. Sal brought in a giant Ferris wheel for the occasion! 🎡 Early voting is now underway!! 🗳️
EARLY VOTING is underway in Cambridge, Somerville, and across Massachusetts. Thank you to Cambridge Indivisible and Cambridgeport Neighborhood Resistance for working to get folks to the polls today (and for offering free homemade cookies to everyone who voted)! 🍪🍪 🎉 💗 🗳️
I condemn what the Cornell 7 and their 57 enablers in the group chat did to Jane Doe at the Chi Phi frat house — and I also condemn the failures of Cornell University and the criminal legal system in responding to her attackers. My remarks at last week’s rally on Boston Common:
Join us for office hours Saturday morning before No Kings — 10 am to 12 pm at Connexion in East Somerville. 👋 🎉
Rape and sexual assault are never acceptable. Sexual violence is not inevitable, and none of us should accept a society where women must live in fear and organize their lives around the threat of being attacked. 🧵
We need to fully fund BARCC and other rape crisis centers; we must also increase funding for transitional housing, shelters, and guarantee housing for all, especially survivors of sexual and domestic violence.
One legislator cannot do this alone — but seeing everyone here on the Common gives me hope real change is possible. I am humbled to stand here in solidarity with @massnow @janedoe @barccofficial @victimrightslaw @impact_boston @protecttransfutures and survivors everywhere.
On Monday, the MWRA and the City of Cambridge presented a ludicrous plan to the Cambridgeport Neighborhood Assoc. — to better address combined sewer overflows, they would permanently sacrifice Magazine Beach park. I am now working to untangle this mess. repmikeconnolly.org/this_rid…
Another incredible Cambridge Classic 5K! It was a perfect morning for a run 🌞 Thank you to everyone who worked to make this event possible! 🏃🏻♂️🍂🎉💗
FREE PALESTINE! 🍉 here’s a snippet of my remarks at this evening’s rally and die-in to support Cambridge For Palestine’s plans to introduce an ordinance to divest the City of Cambridge from Israel’s genocide. Thanks to my colleagues and to everyone who organized and showed up.

Proud to speak in support of Gov. @Maura_Healey this afternoon in Cambridge alongside Reps. Decker and Owens. In my remarks, I focused on all the progress we’ve made on the MBTA over the past four years.
I also highlighted the Governor’s work on reproductive freedom, immigrant protections, gender-affirming care, gun control, and housing.
