They didn’t die for Black America. They didn’t die for White America. They didn’t die for one race, one class, or one political party. They died for AMERICA. 🇺🇸 Fourteen of my classmates I went to West Point with never came home from the Global War on Terror. They gave their last full measure of devotion so the rest of us could continue living beneath the flag they loved. That sacrifice demands something from us. It demands that we remember who we are. That we thank God for the blessings of this nation. That we raise another generation of Americans who understand that freedom is not inherited automatically, it is preserved by men and women willing to defend it. America is worth fighting for. 🇺🇸
