We need to dispel the notion that there is some conflict between getting a liberal arts education and getting a job. Nothing prepares students better for an ever-changing economy that the liberal arts.
First in Vermont. Third in the nation. Zippia rankings show Castleton University is an excellent investment when it comes to finding a job after college. pos.li/2g6wf4

I was looking for #UConn as the correct answer: @UConnWBB @UConnMBB I guess it's become so common for UConn to dominate that it's taken for granted.

The wrestling program at Castleton (@CastletonSports) is still relatively new and hugely successful. Kudos to these student athletes and to Coach Legacy, an apt name for a man creating a legacy at Castleton.

This is a reasonable measure of how Americans perceive other nations' opinions of us, but it should not be confused as a measure of how the rest of the world actually perceives the US.

Our students have been shouting all day, first at a Board Meeting and then at a press conference. They deserve to have their story reported. This is about access to higher education for Vermonters.

I love listening to @vermontpublic but I sometimes think that they are elitist. They have never covered Castleton much, but to ignore what is happening to @VermontStateU is missing a story about class, opportunity, and keeping young people in VT.
